Dirty Money – Pleasure Magazine

This is a conceptual illustration I created for Denmark's Pleasure Magazine. I was briefed with creating an illustration made clear the links between ‎€500 notes and organised crime. Since the year 2002 the ‎€500 note has been the dominant and obvious currency choice for criminals in Europe. The main reason being that it's the bill with the highest value of all moneybills in the entire world - also it's very light. So huge amounts of money stacks are easily transported and easier to hide. As a result, the European Central bank has been under pressure for quire a few years to stop producing the bill.
